Graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. He was a scholar at Oxford University (1999) and the TMC Asser Institute in the Hague. He runs the Litigation and Arbitraion Department of the the law firm.
He also specialises in pharmaceutical law, with particluar emphasis on the issues regarding the introduction of a product to the market, obtaining the necessary authorizations, responsibility for the product, advertising of pharmaceuticals, as well as legal mechanisms of parallel import of medicinal products and marketing mechanisms with reference to regulated trading.
Przemyslaw Maciak represents plaintiffs in unprecedented litigations against pharmaceutical concerns for responsibility for harms resulting from the application of medicinal products as well as harms resulting from the conduct of clinical trials.
His business experience includes comprehensive counsel regarding the issue of currency options and negotiations with banks. Przemysław Maciak personally advised a great number of large join-stock companies during their negotiations with banks. As a result our Clients managed to restructure successfully and adopt suitable recovery proceedings.
Przemysław Maciak is the Managing Partner with responsibility for the firm’s overall development strategy. He took an active part and also headed economic missions of Polish enterpreneurs to emerging markets (India 2010, Brasil 2009, 2011). He also coordinates the representation of the Clients in their most important lawsuits.
